We knew Samsung is putting an all-out effort for the Galaxy S8, looking to fit in the best specsheet in a best looking body at best possible price. So, it was a given that Galaxy S8 would feature a better than Galaxy S7 front camera too, but today, we know what that could be.
For the starter, we know from ETnews that Samsung is fitting in vastly better front camera on the Galaxy A series of 2017, which featured mere 5MP sensor last year. Rumors has it that Samsung has installed a cool 12MP camera chip on the A5 2017 and A7 2017, while even the A3 sees an upgrade to 8MP camera for selfie taking.
ETnews also revealed that Samsung is looking to impress Selfie lovers, and totally has the selfies in mind when planning for 2017 devices. Which is why, A series is getting the camera bump, and which is why Galaxy S8 would earn itself a better front camera, too.
ETnews also says that they can confirm the Galaxy S8 features a better camera too, and if A series can boast 12MP cam, we would bet the Galaxy S8 features that for sure, at the least actually. We could even see Galaxy S8 sport a 13MP/16MP camera on the front, which is not out of line, as Vivo was able to install a massive 20MP on the front, or even dual cameras. Plus, it’s a given that the S8 front camera features a new Autofocus system too, all of which makes S8’s camera something to watch for in 2017.
Samsung is all set to release the Galaxy A3 2017 and A5 2017 pretty soon, with even the official renders leaking out to the public today on the web.
Galaxy S8 is set for release in April 2017, while you could check out its specsheet here. The Galaxy S8 would feature Exynos processor and Samsung’s own camera module for the Rest of World, while for the USA, it would feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset with Sony camera.
Earlier, it was seemingly confirmed that the Galaxy S8 Plus would feature a 6-inch display (possible 6.2″), while the Galaxy S8 would don a 5-inch display on front (possibly 5.5″). Given the greater screen-to-body ratio rumored for the devices, thanks to curved display and all, the overall screen size won’t be much.
