The flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have been projected for launch in Japan in first week of June. The smartphones will be available on Japanese carriers NTT Docomo and KDDI.
Yesterday, Samsung opened a new outlet called the Galaxy Studio where many of the latest Samsung products, including the new 360-degree camera Gear 360 and Gear VR, will be showcased to the public. This will be used for promotional events too and serves the same purpose as the Samsung experience zones in Korea.
Samsung’s market share in Japan isn’t that great right now. But the company hopes to make that change with the launch of its flagships in Japan soon.
Japan is the only major market where Samsung hasn’t released the Galaxy S8 yet, so with this launch, the Galaxy S8 will be available at all major markets in the world.

In the meantime, Samsung is gearing up to enter the dual camera market, with the alleged Galaxy C10 Plus getting closer with more leaks. We also expect the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 to feature a dual camera and it won’t be long either before we see the device out in the open, as the Note 8 has now cleared FCC.
