Samsung and the major carriers in Korea have done very good marketing for the Galaxy S8. Also, the customers who pre-order the device are being given free gifts such as the GearVR headset, Bluetooth speakers, and other accessories.
A recent report had also stated that Samsung aims on selling a minimum of 18 million units of the S8 and S8+ within the first 3 months of launch. The company is also hoping to ship around 58 million units by the end of 2017.
