Earlier today, we reported that Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and two devices from Note series, Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge were receiving the June security update.

Now, thanks to Samsung, which keeps sending security patches for almost all the devices, two more devices are safe from any threat. We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini.

Both the devices are currently receiving the June security patch with build number G800FXXU1CQE1 for Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S4 (China) update comes with build number I9500ZCUIQD1.

As is the case with any security patch, the update takes care of various security vulnerabilities and brings along fixes to existing bugs. You can also expect performance and stability improvements from the update.

It is advisable to connect to a good Wi-Fi network before downloading the update and keep your handset charged as high as 50 percent while installing the update.
