As we boot into 2016, one thing that Samsung Android users have their eyes set on is the official release of Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Sammy’s recent Flagships and other compatible devices.

The Korean manufacturer has already released a beta firmware based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge and in the US, and it reportedly is working pretty good for all who voluntarily joined the beta test group.

Also, as for the root access, Chainfire has already released a beta version of SuperSU (v2.66) which can easily root Samsung’s Marshmallow release with a simple flash from TWRP recovery.

The SuperSU v2.62+ beta versions come with an automated boot patcher which allows for root access without modifying the system partition and without needing to flash a custom kernel separately via Odin. The auto boot patcher does all the job, and installs SuperSU on your device as a systemless install so that SELinux runs in enforcing mode, and thereby protecting your device’ security even when rooted.

The systemless SuperSU install has been tested positively on a number of Marshmallow running devices and also on the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Marshmallow beta firmware. So we know this will also root Note 4 Marshmallow update just fine.

You can grab the latest SuperSU v2.66 beta version zip from the download link below and simply flash it via a custom recovery of your choice (we recommend, TWRP recovery).
