Galaxy C7 Pro to launch in USA soon?

Galaxy C7 Pro

Samsung kickstarted the year 2017 with the launch of Galaxy C7 Pro in China back in January which was then launched in Hong Kong last month. Now, it seems like the company is prepping to launch it in the US as the Galaxy C7 Pro bearing model number SM-C701F/DS has just cleared FCC.

The smartphone with the same model number cleared the Wi-Fi Alliance just yesterday, and now that the FCC has also given a green signal, we can expect the phone to be made available to the users in US real soon.

At the heart of the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC which is built on a 14nm FinFET architecture. For the unaware, the SD625 SoC is highly energy efficient. On top of that, the smartphone has a 3,300mAh battery. Meaning you can expect the device to last really long.

The Galaxy C7 Pro also includes a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB expandable storage space, a 16MP camera on both the front and back. Sadly, the device still boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, but it should get the Nougat update sometime this year.

As for the pricing, the Galaxy C7 Pro is priced at CNY 2899 in China which translates to around $420.
