Galaxy C7 2017 to be powered by Snapdragon 660 or 630 processor

Samsung Galaxy C7 2017

It was only a couple of hours ago did we tell you that the Galaxy C7 2017 could launch very soon. And, we have some more information to share with you now.

A Twitter user who goes with the moniker @mmddj_china has tweeted that Samsung could either choose a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 or a Snapdragon 630 SoC for the Galaxy C7 2017.

Interestingly, another rumor which surfaced online a few days ago hinted that the device will be powered by the company’s in-house Exynos 7872 chipset. In fact, the Galaxy C7 2017 was tipped to be the first smartphone to come with the Exynos 7872 chip.

The original Galaxy C7 was launched with the Snapdragon 625 chipset on-board. So, it’s highly likely that the company will opt for the Snapdragon 630 over the Snapdragon 660 chip. But again, nothing’s certain for now. So, do take this piece with a pinch of salt.

The Galaxy C7 2017 is expected to feature a dual camera setup on the back like the Galaxy C5 and C9 2017 variants. Most of the other details regarding the smartphone are in the dark at this point of time.

We should see more details emerge as we approach the C7’s launch.
