The popular fitness wearable company, Fitbit, just updated its Android app bringing new UI changes along with various other improvements.
The app update now enables the Fitbit dashboard by default. The dashboard provides you with various useful infographics like the number of steps taken, total distance run, calories burnt and the like. The update also supports Daily Goal celebrations in the Dashboard. In addition to that there are also bug fixes and performance improvements.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the name Fitbit, it is a digital healthcare company that makes wearable products like smartbands and other healthcare products. In a nutshell, what Fitbit does is provide you with an organized layout of how to lose/gain weight. The app also works in conjunction with other fitness apps that provide you with a personal trainer who could monitor your progress without having to go to a gym.

There are loads of options available in wearable tech right now ranging from the cheapest ones coming from Xiaomi to the Samsung Gear S3 being on the pricey side. Having a Fitbit will add a sense of purpose for some in getting up and finishing that workout or completing that last mile.
