Oppo has been synonymous with camera phones. Its last year offerings, the Oppo R9 and R9 Plus, were a success and it plans to continue this trend by releasing successor to these smartphones named Oppo R11 and Oppo R11 Plus. The former has hit the headlines with its first live image spotted online.

Coming from a tipster, who goes by the moniker of @mmdj_china, via his Twitter handle, the hands-on image of the Oppo R11 unmistakably bears great resemblance to iPhone 7 Plus. As seen from the image, the rear panel of Oppo R11 sports dual camera on the top right end side, pretty much similar to dual camera setup as seen on iPhone 7 Plus. Beside the cameras is the LED flash.

Another notable design that can be spotted from the image is the antenna lines which again, as you must have guessed, look more than a bit similar to those of the iPhone 7 Plus.

Oppo R11 was also spotted on GFXBench a few days back revealing its specsheet. As per the GFX listing, it sports a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p display. Powered by a Qualcomm 660 processor along with Adreno 510 GPU, it packs in 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

The GFX listing shows the Oppo R11 featuring a 20MP selfie snapper and a 16MP rear camera. The phone runs Android 7.1.1 OS. Currently, not much is known about the release date and availability, but it could be made official by June.
