Ever since the introduction of Facebook Stories, the social networking company has been constantly adding new features to the platform to make it better compete with similar products on the market. Earlier this year, we saw the arrival of AR doodles and Boomerang to Stories’ Camera feature suite and apparently, the company has secretly started rolling out support for GIFs in Stories.
In addition, Facebook’s News Feed is also getting a similar treat, which means that from now henceforth, you’ll be able to make posts consisting of GIFs. To do this, simply tap on “What’s on your mind?” and from the options, select GIF (hidden under the “More” button). You can then proceed by searching the GIF you want using a keyword or simply scroll through to find what you like.

Although Facebook hasn’t said a thing regarding the source of the GIFs, it’s likely that they are coming from the popular GIPHY.
At the moment, the feature has only appeared on Facebook for iOS and web, but it should arrive on the Android version sooner than later.
