AT&T is extending support for WiFi calling to more Samsung devices as the carrier pushed out an update today for the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge Plus and Note 5. The update also brings september security patches alongside WiFi calling feature.
As of 9/20/2016, the following list Samsung Galaxy devices support WiFi calling on AT&T:
- Galaxy S6
- Galaxy S6 Edge
- Galaxy S6 Edge Plus
- Galaxy S6 Active
- Galaxy S7
- Galaxy S7 Edge
- Galaxy S7 Active
- Galaxy Note 5
To enable WiFi calling on your AT&T Samsung device, do the following:
- Open the Phone app on your Samsung device.
- Touch MORE on the top-right corner of the screen, and select Settings from there.
- Scroll down to the bottom of Phone app settings screen, you’ll see a toggle to enable WiFi calling.
- Switch On WiFi calling toggle to enable it.
- Make calls like you normally do.
