What to know

  • The “I’m Tired, Boss” Triumph is tied to the Tire Game in Sanctuary on the Moon.
  • Starting a round costs 1,000 Glimmer.
  • A perfect round normally requires all tires to land in the center crater, making it heavily luck-based.
  • A widely used Sparrow method can help force the game to register a perfect score more consistently.

After arriving in Sanctuary on the Moon, you can participate in one of Destiny 2’s most unusual activities: the Tire Game. This small minigame challenges players to roll tires down a ramp and into scoring zones below. To unlock the “I’m Tired, Boss” Triumph, you must either score a perfect round yourself or simply witness another player achieve one.

Where to find the Tire Game

The Tire Game is located in Sanctuary, the main social area on the Moon, introduced with the Shadowkeep expansion. Look for the distinctive yellow-and-black launch ramp near the landing zone. Interacting with the console beside the ramp spends 1,000 Glimmer and releases three tires that roll toward the scoring pits below.

Why a perfect round is difficult

Under normal conditions, each tire must land in the center crater to maximize your score. Because the tires bounce unpredictably and physics can behave inconsistently, obtaining a perfect round through normal gameplay often requires considerable luck and repeated attempts.

Fortunately, players discovered a method that significantly increases the chances of triggering the triumph.

How to complete the triumph using the Sparrow method

Step #1

Travel to Sanctuary on the Moon and locate the Tire Game ramp.

Step #2

Equip a standard-sized Sparrow. Smaller Sparrows tend to be easier to position accurately than bulkier models.

Step #3

Drive or jump your Sparrow from the top of the ramp toward the center scoring crater below.

Step #4

Continue practicing until the Sparrow lands inside the center crater and remains stationary. This positioning is the most important part of the process.

Step #5

Leave the Sparrow exactly where it is. Do not summon a new Sparrow or respawn it elsewhere, as this will reset the setup.

Step #6

Return to the Tire Game terminal and spend 1,000 Glimmer to begin a round.

Step #7

Allow the tires to roll naturally. With the Sparrow positioned in the center crater, the game can incorrectly register the score as a perfect round when a tire lands in the center area alongside the vehicle.

Step #8

Once the game recognizes the perfect score, the “I’m Tired, Boss” Triumph should unlock. If it does not, reposition the Sparrow and try again.

Additional tips for faster completion

If you see other players attempting the Tire Game, stay nearby and watch their runs. The triumph requirement specifically states that you can score or witness a perfect round. This means another player’s successful attempt can grant completion without requiring you to spend Glimmer or perform the setup yourself.

The Sparrow method remains the most popular approach because it removes much of the randomness involved in the activity. Even if the tires do not behave perfectly, the positioning glitch can still cause the game to register a flawless score.

The “I’m Tired, Boss” Triumph is one of Destiny 2’s more lighthearted secrets, turning a simple tire-rolling minigame into a collectible challenge. While a legitimate perfect score can be frustrating due to random physics, the Sparrow positioning trick offers a much more reliable route. Whether you complete it yourself or witness another Guardian do it, spending a few minutes at Sanctuary is usually all it takes to add this triumph to your collection.
