A new smartphone from Coolpad will soon see the light of the day. The smartphone that goes by the moniker Coolpad A9S has been spotted on the certification website, Geekbench.

The device was earlier spotted on other certification sites such as GFX Bench and TENAA. According to the Geekbench listing, the Coolpad A9S will feature 4GB RAM coupled with Helio P20 (MT6757) processor.

However, according to the previous listings, the smartphone will come in two variants of 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. Both the variants will run on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.

Coolpad A9S Specs

Coolpad A9S will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD display with the dimensions of 152 × 75.5 × 7.85 mm and will weigh 171 grams. There will be two variants of Coolpad A9S. One will feature 4GB RAM with 64GB memory, while the second variant will feature 6GB RAM with 64GB internal memory. While 6GB variant will be powered by 2.35GHz octa-core processor, 1.64 GHz processor will power the 4GB variant.

The other specifications will remain same for both the variants. Both the variants will run on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and will be backed up by a 3,800 mAh battery.

In the camera department, you will find 12MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. On the rear side, you will also find a fingerprint sensor placed below the rear camera.

The Coolpad A9S will come in two color options of Golden Dawn and Johnnie Walker Gold color.

Although Coolpad has not officially announced the device yet, it is expected to release in 5-7 weeks.
