BLU Grand Energy certified at FCC

The American OEM BLU is all set to release a new mid-range Android smartphone, known as BLU Grand Energy, which has been spotted today at the FCC. Based on the leaked images present below, this smartphone may enter the lower to mid range segment.

Details regarding the specifications are scarce, so it’s a little too early to comment on what the device is capable of. And looking at the screenshots, we’re sure it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and given that it’s a budget phone, it may not get the Nougat update.

Previous smartphones from BLU, the BLU Grand 5.5 and BLU Energy X2 featured mediocre specs, with a 720p display and Mediatek chipset with the Energy X2 carrying a larger 4000 mAh battery but having a smaller screen.

We expect BLU Grand Energy to feature a slightly better specsheet than that.
