BLU R2 gets certified by FCC, comes with 3000mAh battery and rear mounted fingerprint scanner

BLU R2

It looks like BLU is prepping to launch a new smartphone very soon. The BLU R2 has just paid a visit to FCC hinting that its launch is imminent.

The listing, apart from revealing the fact that the handset will feature a 3,000mAh battery, also shows us how the device will look like.

As you can see from the image above, the BLU R2 features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner just below the camera. There’s also a cut-out for the speaker at the bottom of the rear side.

At the front is a 5.0-inch display with a couple of standard sensor alongside the front-facing camera above it.

Unlike its predecessor, the BLU R2 doesn’t have the company’s branding at the front (bottom chin).

It looks like the device will get a metal body this time from the image. However, it’s just our speculation and could be false. So, take it with a pinch of salt.

Apart from these details, there’s isn’t much we know about the BLU R2 just yet. That said, we will keep you updated should any other details surface online.
