The Sunrise Sword flame katana is found early in Chapter 4, in the Pilgrim’s Zone, stuck in the ground near the first camp along the main road.
The Sunrise Sword is one of the easiest strong elemental weapons to grab once Chapter 4 opens in Beast of Reincarnation. It sits right on the main route near the opening camp, so the main thing is knowing to stop and claim it before you push deeper into the zone.

You can pick up the Sunrise Sword at the very beginning of Chapter 4, after entering the Pilgrim’s Zone. Look for the first campfire, then continue along the central road until you see the weapon stuck in the ground in the middle of the path.
It is hard to miss if you stay on the main road, but it is still worth grabbing immediately because it gives you a Flame option before the next major fight sequence.

After you pull the Sunrise Sword
Taking the Sunrise Sword can trigger a bell-ringing scene and an ambush by Fanatic Golems. This happens before or around the first Taurus Nushi encounter, so you do not need to beat Taurus Nushi to get the weapon.

The sword is not a one-chance pickup at this point. If you die after the ambush or during the Taurus Nushi attempt, you can return on respawn and pick up the Sunrise Sword again before re-engaging.
Grab the Sunrise Sword before pushing past the first camp so you have Flame damage ready for the Chapter 4 fights that follow.
