From the Defense Outpost Outskirts fast travel point in Fuji Frontier, head back to the broken bridge/red flower path and climb the far-right cliffside vine with Emma’s hair, then jump up to the ledge to reach the hidden shrine.
This Dragon Vein Shrine is in Chapter 6, inside the Fuji Frontier Zone, near the Defense Outpost Outskirts fast travel point. It is the awkward cliffside shrine above the path, the one that is easy to miss while cleaning up every shrine for the trophy.
Key The important part is the angle. The near-side hair grab looks tempting, but the route works from the far side of the path, around the broken bridge and red flower area.
Defense Outpost Outskirts shrine location
Start from Defense Outpost Outskirts in Fuji Frontier Zone. From the camp, turn back toward the path rather than pushing deeper into the outpost.
You are looking for the stretch where the route opens near the broken bridge, the red flowers, and the cliffside wooden platforms. The shrine sits above this area on a high ledge, tucked beside tree roots once you pull yourself up.
How to reach the shrine from Defense Outpost Outskirts in Beast of Reincarnation
This route starts at the camp and uses the far-side vine angle to reach the hidden ledge.

Return from the camp to the path
From Defense Outpost Outskirts, head back toward the main path instead of continuing farther into the outpost.

Stop at the bridge split
Pause where the broken bridge and path separate, with the red flower field and cliffside platforms ahead.

Ignore the near-side hair angle
Sending Emma’s hair up from the near side does not carry you onto the shrine ledge.

Move to the far side of the path
Cross over toward the opposite cliff wall and line up with the far-right vine angle.

Pull up with Emma’s hair
Send the hair up from the far side, then be ready because the pull may stop short of the top.

Jump onto the upper ledge
Press your jump button as you reach the lip, mantle up, and walk along the ledge to the Dragon Vein Shrine.
Use the far side of the path, not the near wall, and keep your thumb ready on jump so Emma can mantle if the hair pull ends just below the ledge.

Cliffside climb problems near the shrine
The climb can fail if you start from the wrong wall. On the near side, Emma’s hair does not get a clean path once the vine angle turns around the top of the cliff, so the pull falls short before you can reach the shrine ledge.
Watch the nearby ledges while you climb. Enemies can shoot from the surrounding high ground, and the route does not require a separate detour to clear them first.

There are two different Defense Outpost-area shrine descriptions that can sound similar. The route above is for the cliffside vine shrine visible from the Defense Outpost Outskirts camp area, reached by returning to the broken bridge and red flower path.
Some shrine lists also place a Defense Outpost Outskirts-associated shrine behind an Elite Malefact at a dead end. Because shrine numbering around this area is inconsistent, use the landmarks instead of chasing a number like #30 or #31.
Fuji Frontier shrine cleanup after this
After grabbing this one, keep sweeping Fuji Frontier Zone before leaving Chapter 6. The area has multiple Dragon Vein Shrines commonly grouped around #28-#32.
Your remaining cleanup paths usually point back toward the Cleanser Walker, the shrine near the destroyed houses, routes around Defense Outpost Interior, and cliff platforms later in the zone. Treat those as the next landmarks to check rather than relying only on shrine numbers.
