The Galaxy Note 8 at Sprint has started receiving a new update which introduces two exciting new features.
The new build brings software version N950USQU5CRIA on board the device and once users update they will be able to take advantage of AR Emoji and Super slow motion recording. A similar update started rolling out for Galaxy Note 8 users at T-Mobile earlier this week.

As we told you before, Super slow motion recording will enable your Galaxy Note 8 to shoot video at 960fps in 720p resolution. This is a feature that debuted with this year’s flagship, the Galaxy S9. Next we have AR Emoji, which is a fun feature that snaps a selfie of you and then proceeds to create a realistic (some will disagree) 3D model which you then customize.
As for the other two big US carriers, AT&T is rolling out a similar update for its Note 8 complete with AR Emoji and new shooting mode, while Verizon is disseminating the October security patch. This will upgrade the software on the devices to version N950USQS5CRID.

So if you own a Galaxy Note 8 on Sprint, AT&T or Verizon, keep an eye out for any new notifications on your device. If you don’t see any, you can always take the pro-active route and manually check by going to Settings>About Device>Software Update.
