Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ software updates have been hard to come by. Since launch, only a handful of updates have been released by AT&T and in fact, the last time the duo received a software update on the carrier was back in mid-March. Today, the carrier has a new update that brings a combination of April, May and June 2018 security patches.
The update that’s rolling out has software version G960USQS2ARF4 for those using the Galaxy S9 and version G965USQS2ARF4 for Galaxy S9+ users. It’s unlikely that the updates have the same effects to the S9 and S9+ because of their different file sizes. Where the former’s update weighs 747MB, the latter’s weighs 343MB.

The Galaxy S9 pair came preinstalled with Android 8.0 Oreo and nothing changes to this after the latest update. Note that this is an OTA update, meaning it may take time before every AT&T user receives the download notification. You can either wait to be notified or try going the manual way via the Settings > About phone menu.
