AT&T Galaxy S7 update rolling out with bug fixes, stability improvements and June security patch

After T-Mobile and Sprint, it is now time for the AT&T variant of Galaxy S7 units to start receiving a new software update which installs the June security patch. The update is being rolled out over the air.

Arriving as build number G930AUCU4BQF3, the update also includes bug fixes and stability improvements. In addition, fixes for a few other issues are also bundled with the update which includes calendar fixes, Samsung Knox fixes and Messaging fixes. The update also brings improvements for video calling feature.

Although a regular monthly update, it is highly recommended as it improves the stability and security of your device. The significance of the update is evident from the large file size of 257-324MB which means that it does include important features.

As is the norm with OTA updates, it may take a while to appear on your AT&T Galaxy S7 phone. Alternately, you can check manually by heading to Settings > About device > System updates. For seamless installation of the update, ensure that your device is at least 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network.
