AT&T is now rolling out the Android Nougat update to the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ users in the US. This comes just a week after Sprint rolled out the Nougat update to these devices.
Although AT&T didn’t publish the official changelog for the Note 5’s update yet, a good number of AT&T users have revealed on its forum that the OTA is arriving with the build NRD90M. Weighing in at 1.4GB, the update, while bringing all the goodies from Nougat also installs the March Android security patch on the Note 5.
AT&T’s Galaxy S6 Edge+ update, as seen on the official support page is arriving with the build G928AUCU4EQC6 with size up to 1.51GB. The S6 Edge+’s update also installs the March security patch on the smartphone. In addition, the OTA also brings along a few enhancements, adds Samsung Cloud and Samsung Pass apps while getting rid of a few apps like AT&T Address Book, MobiTV, and AT&T Live.

Clearly, these are big updates, and you’d want to make sure you have connected to the Wi-Fi before downloading the update. Also, as usual, take a backup of your data for it can come in handy should there be any issues.
