The fourth generation Asus Zenfone Pegasus smartphone is in the making. This can be inferred from a leak which has surfaced online revealing almost all the details of the Asus ZenFone Pegasus 4A. What caught our attention was the dual camera set-up at the rear of the Asus smartphone.

The legitimacy of the leak is doubtful due to some of the poorly edited images, but admittedly the entire news can’t be brushed aside. Starting with the press images, Asus’s attempt to churn out an iPhone look alike is evident. The placement of the rear dual cameras is a clear proof.

The leaked specsheet of Asus ZenFone Pegasus 4A too doesn’t seem too interesting and point towards a mid-range device. We find a 5-inch 720p-resolution display grace the body of the phone which is powered by a MediaTek MT6737V chipset. This is paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

On the imaging department, there is 13MP+8MP dual cameras at the back and a 5MP front camera. A 4100mAh battery keeps the lights on while the Asus phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat software.

The 1800 CNY or $263 price tag seems a bit over-board for the mentioned lower mid-range specsheet, especially when users have better options to choose from in the same price range. The phone could be released by the end of next month and in all probability it will not find its way into the US (given the MediaTek chipset).
