Asus has at the MWC 2018 event unveiled the ZenFone Max (M1), the newest member of the ZenFone Max series. Asus hasn’t called it ZenFone 5 Max, but the phone, that slots in just below the ZenFone Max Plus (M1) announced a few months ago, gets you a 5.5-inch 720 x 1440 18:9 IPS LCD display screen with an 83% screen-to-body ratio, compared to max Plus’ 5.7-inch display.

Under the hood, the ZenFone Max (M1) has two variants, one with a Snapdragon 425 and the other has a Snapdragon 430. The RAM and storage options can go as high as 3GB and 32GB depending on your market, but some markets will get lower memory configurations. The Max (M1) has a dual 13MP main camera and an 8MP 120-degree wide-angle lens and for selfies, you get an 8MP shooter.

Other specs include Android 8.0 Oreo, rear-mounted scanner, a massive 4000mAh battery, microUSB port, 3.5mm audio jack, dual-SIM and dedicated microSD card slots. Price and availability details are yet to be confirmed.
