Asus ZenFone 3 Max Update: Software version brings “Asus Power Master”

Update [April 05, 2017]: The latest update to the Zenfone 3 Max, going as software version, now installs the Asus Power Master app. As you very well know, the device features a massive 4100mAh battery which is capable of charging other devices too. Improvements to display touch latency, fingerprint sensor sensitivity and camera performance are also present with this build. The OTA update also brings enhancements to the LED notification effects and fixes a customer call issue for users in Italy.

Asus has started pushing out a new update to its ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL) smartphone. Arriving as version and currently hitting units in India, the update brings only a handful of changes.

The main highlight of the update is the addition of support for 4G VoLTE, meaning you can make use of Reliance Jio’s Free Welcome Offers on the smartphone now.

The camera performance and system stability are improved and SOS call (India) feature is also added.

The roll out has just begun, so you need to be patient if your unit is yet to receive the update. You can manually check for the update by heading to the Settings » About phone » System update menu on your device.
