Asus Zenfone 3 Max update rolling out with optimized Camera, Touch performance and bug fixes

A new software update has been released for the Asus Zenfone 3 Max, which brings along a couple of improvements and bug fixes. The software version is 13.0.1.55 and this is for the ZC520TL variant.

The software update is available as an OTA and has just started to roll out for the device. According to the release post, the update may take a few days to a week to be available for all. Meanwhile, users can manually check for the update via Settings > About > System Update.

So what’s new with this update? Well, the update only brings some minor improvements and bug fixes to the Zenfone 3 Max. The camera and touch performance have been optimized. A bug that causes issues when making customer service calls in Italy has been fixed. Also, the PLMN ID list and the LED notification effect when charging have been updated.

That’s about it. We are not sure if or when the Zenfone 3 Max is getting the Nougat update. However, the regular Zenfone 3 had received the update in January, therefore it is likely that the Max would get it too.
