Asus ZenFone 3 Laser receives Android 7.1.1 update with software version 30.41.12.1

After rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat to ZenFone 3 Laser, Asus has bumped up the software on the device to Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The new software update is being seeded over the air.

Asus ZenFone 3 Laser is receiving the update as software version 30.41.12.1. The exact changelog is not available as of now. But in all probability the update bundles system improvements and bug fixes with the Android 7.1.1 Nougat software.

As is the norm with OTA updates, it may take some time to appear on your device. Asus usually takes about a week or two to completely roll out the update in batches. If waiting is not your thing, you can check for the update manually by heading to Settings > About device > System Update. Before installing the update, ensure that your device is at least 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network.

Meanwhile, the Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom has also started receiving the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update which arrives as software version V20.31.49.2. This update brings various camera improvements and new features.
