The Taiwanese tech has announced that it will release the ZenFone 2 smartphone in Europe officially from today. Initially, it will be available for sale in France and the customers can grab the device from the Asus Shop and from other retailers such as Cdiscount, Darty and Auchan.
Asus will be brining three models of the ZenFone 2 to the European market, but the one that will arrive first is the ZenFone 2 with the model number ZE551ML that is the flagship model of the series. This device arrives with a 5.5 inch FHD 1080p display, 64 bit 2.3 GHz quad core Intel Atom Z3580 processor and 4 GB of RAM.
For imaging, the high-end ZenFone 2 smartphone features a 13 MP main snapper and a 5 MP front facing selfie shooter. The other aspects of the ZE551ML include 32 GB of internal storage that can be expanded externally using a micro SD card. It will be priced at €349, whereas it will be available for €299 for a limited time period.
The other models of the ZenFone 2 that will enter the European markets are ZE550ML and ZE500CL. The former boasts of a 5.5 HD display and Intel Atom Z3560 quad core processor priced at €249. On the other hand, the ZenFone 2 ZE500CL is a low end model with a 5 inch HD 720p display and a dual core Intel Atom Z2560 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. The other aspects of the device include 8 GB of native storage space, an 8 MP main snapper and a 2 MP front facing selfie snapper. This model of the Asus offering is priced at €179.
As the ZenFone 2’s official release in the European markets is confirmed, the device is believed to go on sale in the North American markets soon.
