The 2 GB RAM variant of the Asus ZenFone 2 that went official in January at the CES 2015 tech show in Las Vegas has been listed on sale in the United States. Well, the device is listed on the e-commerce portal Amazon for a pricing of $219 for the white colored variant and $229 for the black one.
Notably, this is an international variant of the device and it is devoid the US warranty that is a downside for the consumers purchasing it. Also, the ZenFone 2 listed for sale on the retailer is an unlocked version with LTE connectivity.
Detailing on specifications, the ZenFone 2 boasts of a 5 inch HD display with 1280×720 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2560 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB of native storage capacity that can be expanded further using a micro SD card.
The imaging hardware of the ZenFone 2 includes a 13 MP main snapper, a 5 MP front facer and a 3,000 mAh battery. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped with Zen UI.
For now, there is no word on the availability and pricing of the 5.5 inch FHD 1080p ZenFone 2 with 4 GB of RAM for the US market. We can expect this device to be priced above $300 in the region.
