The Taiwan based tech giant Asus appears to be in plans to launch its top notch device called ZenFone 2 in the Canadian market soon. The announcement was made by the firm this week in an attempt to push its offerings into the North American smartphone market.
To launch its devices in North America, Asus has joined hands with the US carrier AT&T. Asus released the hybrid device called PadFone 2 lately and that is the first device to launch in Canada.
The ZenFone 2 was unveiled at the CES 2015 tech show earlier this year. The device boasts of high-end specifications and impressive software. The Asus smartphone is bestowed with a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display and stuffed with a 2.3 GHz quad core Intel Atom processor with 64 bit computing support.
There is 4 GB of RAM, a 13 MP rear snapper with BSI sensor and a 5 MP front facing selfie shooter onboard. Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop, the ZenFone 2 makes use of a 3,000 mAh battery and supports 4G LTE connectivity.
It is believed that Asus will launch the ZenFone 2 sometime in the spring and that it will be available as an unlocked version via Staples and online retailer Amazon. The pricing of the device is expected to fall in the range between $400 and $500.
