Asus created a stir in the smartphone arena by launching the Zenfone 2 with 4 GB of RAM and a powerful Intel Atom chipset. Now, this smartphone is all set to enter the lucrative Indian market.
It has been claimed that this variant of the Zenfone 2 will be launched in India in an event set to happen on April 13. Asus assured that it will be releasing the smartphone in the second quarter and it seems to be a little early by launching the high-end model at first.
The Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML boasts of a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display and is equipped with a 2.3 GHz quad core Intel Atom Z3580 chipset backed by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage space. There are claims that only the 16 GB and 32 GB options of the smartphone will be sold in India. However, there will be a micro SD card facilitating additional storage.
Besides these aspects, the Zenfone 2 will arrive with a 13 MP main snapper at its back with dual LED flash and a 5 MP front facing snapper for video conferencing and selfies. A 3,000 mAh battery will power the device running on Android 5.0 Lollipop topped with Zen UI.
