ASUS unveiled a dedicated gaming phone, the ROG Phone a while ago, but the device is yet to be go on sale in North America.

Well that stands to change soon, as the device is finally slated to go up for pre-order in the US on October 18, for the consistent price of $899 (or Rs. 66,454). That’s for the 128GB of storage model. If you want the more advanced 512GB version, you’ll have to take a whopping $1,099 (or Rs. 81,238) out of your pocket.

The handset comes with some impressive specs, that may or may not justify the price high price tag. It boasts a 6-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and 1ms pixel response time. The screen has 1080 x 2160 resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

When it comes to processing power, the ROG Phone is a real beast carrying a Snapdragon 845 and 8GB of RAM. Other specs include a dual 12MP+8MP camera system on the back, 8MP selfie camera and a 4,000 mAh battery.
