In Arc Raiders, the quest Reduced to Rubble is given by Shani as soon as you finish and confirm the First Foothold quest.

That collapsed highway worries me; it looks to be recent. Much of Topside may be in ruins, but most of it is from ages ago.
Objective
- Take a photo of the Collapsed Highway.
- Go to the Broken Earth.
- Follow the trail of destruction through the Broken Earth.
- Investigate the unknown ARC machines.
The objectives appear incrementally. Once you get done with one, another will be unlocked.
Reduced to Rubble: Location
Reduced to Rubble is one of the first missions you get once you unlock the Blue Gate region.
Reduced to Rubble: Step-by-step guide
The first objective directs you to a location marked on the map known as the Collapsed Highway.
Approach the collapsed highway until you get the yellow marker telling you to Take Photo.
Next, the quest updates and you're instructed to 'Go to the Broken Earth'.
Once you're there, you will have to 'Follow the trail of destruction through the Broken Earth'. But you don't have to go through the entire trail.
You only need to get to the downed ARC at the area marked on the map below, and investigate it - which is the last objective of this quest.
Interact with a yellow 'Investigate' marker near the machine.
Once done, turn in the quest and receive your rewards.

You also get binoculars for the mission. Though you don't have to use them, they're good to keep.
