Not long after rolling out an update that brought May 2019 security patches and a bunch of camera improvements to the Galaxy S10, S10e, and S10+, Samsung has a new update for the trio rolling out in Europe.

The May update, despite improving low-light camera performance, adding support for Night mode on the ultra-wide lens and ability to capture panorama pictures using the primary lens, also came with an annoying bug that occasionally freezes the devices and forces users to restart to temporarily fix the issue.

It had been reported that the ASE5 build begins acting up when using apps like Twitter, WhatsApp, Samsung Internet, Gallery, and even Nova Launcher, among others.

Samsung did acknowledge the issue by halting the rollout and now it has begun rolling out a newer ASE6 update in the same country where all these issues began – Switzerland. It’s still unclear if the new update fixes the said freezing issues, but given how quick Samsung has followed up the previous update with a newer build, it’s likely to be the case.

Do let us know if this ASE6 build brings any notable changes to your affected Galaxy S10e, S10, or S10+ handset in your comments below.
