Anomaly Cafe’s documented items break down into sanity recovery (Cake, Coffee, Cookie), anomaly tools (Talisman, Pan), patience and money boosts (Plants, Posters, Tip Jar), team and inventory gear (Medkit, Bells, Backpack), and the kitchen ingredients you cook orders with.
There is no single item you “must” buy in Anomaly Cafe. The right pick depends on what keeps going wrong during your shift, whether that is a draining sanity bar, repeated anomalies, impatient customers, downed teammates, or a full inventory. Below is every item currently in the game, grouped by the problem it solves, plus the kitchen ingredients that keep orders moving. Prices shown as a dollar figure are in-game cash from Bonny’s shop; anything listed in Robux is a real-money purchase.

| Item | Sanity restored |
|---|---|
| Cake | 20% |
| Coffee | 15% |
| Cookie | 10% |
Keeping your sanity bar up is often the difference between a smooth shift and a spiral, so these three are the items most players reach for first. Cake is the heaviest hitter, restoring 20% sanity per use with three uses per item, but it is the only sanity option that costs real money at 29 Robux. Coffee gives a slightly smaller 15% and also carries three uses; you can buy it from Bonny for $240 or brew it for free at the coffee machine, which runs on a 240-second cooldown. That refill makes Coffee the most repeatable recovery if you are patient with the timer.

Cookie looks weak on paper at 10% sanity for a single use, but it has a hidden gear. If the character Lemon is on your team, you can pull a fresh Cookie roughly every 20 seconds, turning the weakest item into an almost endless trickle of sanity for free.
Clearing anomalies with the Talisman and Pan

Two items exist purely to remove anomalies, and they suit very different play patterns. The Talisman is the specialist: it costs $600 in-game or 99 Robux, and a single Talisman carries 10 uses, making it the go-to when your table is fielding anomaly after anomaly.
The Pan clears anomalies too, but it comes in two flavors. Buying one from Bonny costs $250 and gives you three uses. Alternatively, there is a free Pan in the kitchen with a single use and a 120-second cooldown. Watch one quirk with the free version: a new kitchen Pan will not appear while another kitchen Pan is still sitting in any player’s inventory. If you grab it and hold it, you are blocking the respawn for everyone, so use it and let it clear rather than expecting a fresh one to pop right back.
Customer patience and tips: Plants, Posters and the Tip Jar
When customers are running out of patience faster than you can serve them, two decorations help. Plants cost $170 and add a 10% patience bonus per use across three uses, topping out at a 30% maximum. Posters are the budget route at $150, giving a smaller 5% per use, also over three uses, for a 15% ceiling. Both stop doing anything once you hit their cap, so a fourth Plant or Poster is wasted money.
If the goal is income rather than patience, the Tip Jar at $180 is the item built for it. It raises your chance of receiving better tips from customers, so it pays off over a long shift rather than in one big payout.
Team revives, Bells and inventory space

These three cover survival, currency and carrying capacity. The Medkit is a multiplayer lifeline at $1,500: it revives a teammate who has been knocked down, which is exactly what a struggling co-op table needs on a rough shift. The Bells item costs $300 and, when used, hands you 10 Bells — the currency you spend on character purchases and other Bells-gated features.
The Backpack solves clutter. For $320 you can use it up to three times for a total of eight extra inventory slots, and like the patience items it stops helping once you reach that maximum. If you are constantly juggling ingredients and tools, the extra space means fewer trips and less mid-service inventory shuffling.
Kitchen ingredients and waffle toppings
Not everything you handle is a shop power-up. A whole set of ingredients exists as service items you gather to fill orders, and they are worth knowing because a missing one is a common reason an order fails. Flour and Sugar sit on the shelving at the back of the kitchen; Eggs and Milk live in the walk-in refrigerator through the right-hand door. Those four go into the mixing bowl to make waffle batter before you cook it on the griddle.
After a waffle is cooked, the customization toppings — Butter, Syrup, Fruit and Whipped Cream — are found along the back wall. You add whichever ones the order calls for, so a request like “waffle with syrup and fruit” means finishing the cooked waffle at that station before serving. These ingredients do not have costs or use counts the way shop items do; they are simply the raw materials of the job.
Best items to prioritize by problem
| Problem | Best item |
|---|---|
| Sanity draining fast | Cake (or Coffee to repeat) |
| Frequent anomalies | Talisman |
| Impatient customers | Plants |
| Multiplayer survival | Medkit |
| Earning more money | Tip Jar |
| Inventory always full | Backpack |
You do not need to buy everything at once, and rushing to collect the whole shop is a fast way to burn cash you will want later. Match your purchase to the problem that is actually costing you shifts. If sanity is your weak point, Cake gives the biggest single restore while Coffee is the cheaper repeatable option and Cookie becomes near-limitless with Lemon on the roster. If anomalies dominate, the Talisman‘s ten uses outlast the shop Pan’s three, though the free kitchen Pan covers lighter encounters at no cost.
Buy the one item that fixes your biggest recurring problem this shift — sanity, anomalies, patience, revives, tips or space — instead of stocking the whole shop at once.
What this list covers right now

This guide covers the items currently in the Roblox build of Anomaly Cafe. The game is still in alpha and updates arrive regularly, so future patches may add new items or change costs and use counts. It is also worth flagging that item lists floating around for the game’s Steam demo — things like Coffee Milk, a Sacrifice Kit or a Paintbrush — are not part of the Roblox version and are not included here.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Cake worth spending Robux on over Coffee or Cookie?
Only if you want the strongest, no-strings recovery. Cake is the single sanity item that costs real money, and it earns it with the largest per-use restore and three uses with no cooldown. But Coffee refills for free at the machine and Cookie becomes almost unlimited with Lemon on the team, so most players can keep sanity healthy without spending a single Robux. Treat Cake as a convenience buy, not a requirement.
Is the free kitchen Pan enough for anomaly control?
For a solo or light shift, one use every 120 seconds can be plenty. The catch is that a new kitchen Pan will not spawn while another is still in a player’s inventory, so it does not scale when anomalies come in waves. If you are dealing with repeated encounters, the shop Pan’s three uses or the Talisman’s ten will keep up far better.
Do kitchen ingredients count as items in Anomaly Cafe?
They are items in the sense that you pick them up and use them, but they work differently from shop gear. Flour, Sugar, Eggs, Milk and the toppings are service materials you gather to complete orders — they have no purchase cost, use count or effect on sanity or anomalies. They belong in a full list of what you handle, just not in the same bucket as Bonny’s shop upgrades.
