Huawei is a brand that has long stood strong in the Chinese mobile market and rapidly spread across the Asian market to dominate the tech industry. One of the major selling points of Huawei devices has been the value for money it offers, and none do it better than the Honor series of devices. Honor 7X was released across the world with this same marketing strategy, and with the release of Android 8.0 Oreo and EMUI 8.0 all the way back in March, Huawei made the users even happier.

Although it is more than a month after the Android 8.0 Oreo update was rolled out in the North American region, Huawei is now pushing out the same for the Honor 7X users in India. The news was broken through the official Honor India account on Facebook without the following video:

Apart from features such as Picture-in-Picture mode and Notification Channels, another great aspect of the Oreo update for Honor 7X is that it brings Project Treble computability along with it. However, based on the comments, it seems that the Android 8.0 rollout for Honor 7X is incremental, meaning that it is being pushed out in small batches. If you’re an Honor 7X owner in India desperately waiting for the Android Oreo update, the OTA notification should pop up on your device soon enough.
