Android can tell users when an app store loses registration
The newly added dialog message is unambiguous: “This app store is no longer registered with Android.” Because the resource sits in framework-res, the warning is part of Android’s framework rather than wording found inside one particular third-party store.
This is the new detail in cp41.260831.007. While Registered App Stores was already known more broadly, the retrieved code shows how Android may communicate a loss of registration directly to the user.
The same build also contains a configuration entry named config_registeredAppStoreHelpUrl. Its value is empty in this build, so the code does not identify a destination or provide any help-page text. The entry nevertheless shows that the warning may be linked to a configurable help URL when one is supplied.
