It’s now three weeks since the first stable update to Android 9 Pie rolled out to Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The rollout was first reported in Europe, where more and more regions have been receiving the One UI update.

Today, we are receiving more reports from the UK, where both the unlocked and carrier variants of the Galaxy Note 8 are on a roll, with the Pie update arriving as build DSB2. The update weighs more than 1.8GB, so be sure to get a stable Wi-Fi connection to download the huge file.

Galaxy Note 8 EE UK Pie update

Similar to the version that rolled out earlier, Note 8 users on EE, Three as well as the unlocked model also get February 2019 security patches as part of the Pie update.

Users of the Note 8 in Switzerland and Portugal are also receiving the Pie update, but there is still no sign of the rollout in the U.S. The wait shouldn’t be long, though, especially now that carrier variants in the UK are also receiving Pie.
