OnePlus is rolling out Android 9 Pie beta in China for owners of the OnePlus 3 and 3T. The two devices have been waiting for the longest time possible for this update to arrive, and its finally here.
Android Pie beta comes not long after global users of the OnePlus 3 and 3T got the nod to join the closed beta program. But global users can’t take advantage of the currently rolling out HydrogenOS version.
A few days ago, we reported about the arrival of HydrogenOS beta in China for the OnePlus 3 duo, but the links were later pulled before the rollout commenced. As of this writing, though, the company has once again revealed that Pie beta is available.
Besides the new OS, OnePlus 3 and 3T users also get a new UI, DND mode, Game Mode 3.0, and the latest Android security patch for April 2019.
Just so you know, there is no OTA update to Pie beta, so you’ll have to do things manually. Make sure to check out this page for details on how to go about it.
