Launched in 2015, the Robin smartphone from the ‘Nextbit’ company is still receiving timely updates. Recently, the company surprised the users by sending the Nougat 7.0 update followed by 7.1 update.
Now, looks like another update will soon surprise Robin users. Oh, no. Don’t get your hopes too high, it’s not Android Oreo 8.0 but the company will soon send Nougat 7.1.2 to its users.

A Nextbit Robin device has popped up on GFXBench site that shows the device running Android 7.1.2. Last time as well, the Nougat 7.1 update first popped up on the GFXBench and then later after few months, Nextbit rolled out 7.1.
Currently, there is no time frame as to when the device will get Android 7.1.2. However, as soon as we have some information, we will let you know. Stay tuned.

There’s under a month of support left for this phone and the latest update they gave up has a security patch of April 2017. Way to support the phone through software patches “through Feb 2018” Nextbit. What a let down to be honest.
