The Android 5.1 Lollipop update has already made its way to several devices and now, it seems like it is the turn of Motorola’s Moto X (both variants) and Moto E (2nd Gen) to receive the build.
It is to be noted that only the devices in the U.S. are slated to get the update. Furthermore, it seems like the update will hit the devices any day as Motorola has posted the release notes pointing out at what the users can expect from the Android 5.1 Lollipop build.
The owners of Moto X (2nd Gen) on AT&T will receive the version 23.11.21 and owners of the device from T-Mobile and Pure Edition Moto X will get the software version 23.11.14. The users of the first generation Moto X will get the version number 222.21.2 and those using the Moto E (2nd Gen) will receive the version number 23.11.15.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop update is a big one and it might reach the above mentioned Motorola devices any time. If you use any of these models, look out for the update.
