Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for Verizon Galaxy Note Pro 12.2″ tablet rolling out now!

Users of Verizon Galaxy Note Pro 12.2″ tablet have lot to cheer for today as their device is receiving the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update today. Although there’s much more to update than 5.1.1 Lollipop, but version upgrade clearly rules the list.

The Verizon Galaxy Note Pro Android 5.1.1 update comes with software versions P905VVRUANK5 (SU3A) and P905VVRUBOH1 (SU3B).

Apart from 5.1.1 Lollipop, Reactivation lock feature also comes to Verizon Galaxy Note Pro. It comes into use, when activated, if you lose your device, in which case, it will block the tablet’s use until and unless your Samsung ID and password is provided.

Another addition is auto installation of Samsung’s apps from its Galaxy store automatically once you sign into the device with your Samsung account — something you’ll need to do to use Reactivation lock, speaking of which, if you want to use Odin to flash a firmware, TWRP or root, if any available, keep Reactivation lock off.

Other notable changes include Download booster (combines Wi-Fi and LTE to get you maximum bytes per second), KNOX v2.4, ability to access (turn off possibly) S-Finder via quick settings, Do not disturb mode brought in to replace Blocking mode, Kids mode widget and finally, Stagefright bug fix.

All that in sweet material design and improved UI — light color UI has also made it to your Note Pro, while Recents screen is now tweaked to flow with parallax scrolling animation. That should really make your day if you own a Verizon Galaxy Note Pro and love software updates as much as we do.
