Samsung is going to update the original Galaxy Note to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean some time this year, and we even saw a couple of Android 4.1.1 firmware leak for it recently. However, a YouTube video of the Galaxy Note running on Android 4.1.2 indicates that Samsung will skip the 4.1.1 update altogether.

This is good news if true, as otherwise only God knows how long Samsung would take to release Android 4.1.2 for the device if 4.1.1 comes out first. The video shows that Samsung has added its “Nature UX” to the Note, similar to the Galaxy S3 and Note 2, and has also added an icon for the Multi Window feature in the notifications menu, all of which goes to show that Samsung is taking the software update business pretty seriously, for both old and new (at least flagship) devices.

Watch the video below. What do you think? Fake or real? I’m leaning towards the latter.
