Amazon is rolling out an updated interface for Prime Video that comes with several additions and improvements, the likes of which include a new navigation bar, better transitions and animations, and even the inclusion of Generative AI that will provide ‘Made for you’ recommendations and give synopses for movies and shows.

But the most important change is in the navigation bar at the top. A new ‘Prime’ section will now let you see exactly which content is included with your Prime membership. This will finally make browsing and watching shows and videos on Prime Video a less frustrating affair.

Earlier, things were not as cut and dry. The joy of having found a movie of your choice on Prime Video was often diluted by a label asking you to rent said content or purchase add-on subscriptions for it. With the recent update, you’ll now have a tab dedicated to all the shows and movies that you can watch at no additional cost. So if you’re not in the mood to spend extra, you’ll know where to look for streaming content.

Similarly, there are also dedicated sections for your additional subscriptions such as Max, Paramount+, Crunchyroll, and MGM+. Prime Video users in the U.S. can also check out more than 100 add-on subscriptions by selecting ‘Subscriptions’. Users interested in getting these add-on subscriptions will find deals and subscription bundles, etc. all in one place.

But for those who want to stick with what Prime Video has to offer, it’s the ‘Prime’ section in the new navigation bar that is the destination.

The update is currently rolling out globally and will become available to all users in the new few weeks.
