The Pillar of Autumn has four collectibles: the Speed Limit skull in the cryo bay, the Magnified skull in armory B02, the Perspective skull under the bridge helm, and the Approach terminal in room B04 later in the mission.
The Pillar of Autumn is linear, but its collectibles sit just off the path the mission keeps pushing you through. Use the route below in mission order so you can grab each skull before the late terminal pickup.

Turn around at the start
Face the cryopod Master Chief just woke from instead of leaving the room.
Cross to the right-hand ledge
Jump across to the ledge to get on the elevated platform.
Collect the Skull
Walk into the Speed Limit skull; it auto-picks up because you have no weapons yet.
Magnified skull in armory B02
Follow the Marine into armory B02
Stay with the Marine until you enter the armory marked B02.
KEY!Look over the middle racks
The Magnified skull is on top of the central weapon racks, around the third rack cluster in the room.
Jump before leaving
Make a simple jump onto the racks and collect it before you follow the Marine out.
Perspective skull below the bridge helm
Turn back into the bridge
Re-enter the bridge, or turn to face into it, as soon as control returns.
Pass Captain Keyes
Move beyond Captain Keyes toward the pilots and helm consoles at the front of the bridge.
Drop beneath the helm
Jump down into the pit/ladder area below the pilots and pick up the Perspective skull, which gives access to the third-person camera effect when enabled.
Approach terminal in room B04
Leave the upper room
Follow the mission guidance until you reach the room above where you began, then exit from the other side.
Turn left twice
After exiting, turn left, then immediately turn left again into the room marked B04.
Activate the terminal
Interact with the Approach terminal inside B04; if you see cafeteria/vending-machine alcove directions elsewhere, use this B04 route for this sweep.
Mistakable moments before the escape route
The easiest mistake is moving too fast. Rushing out of the cryo bay skips the opening ledge, sprinting through B02 hides the skull above eye level, and leaving the bridge right after the cinematic means you never check below the helm.
Once you have collected all three skulls and activated the Approach terminal, the Pillar of Autumn collectible sweep is done, and the mission’s Clean Sweep achievement is covered.
