The Alcatel Pixi 5 is set to release soon with the device turning up at Bluetooth SIG for certification. The 6-inch phablet with the model number 9008A will most probably be aimed at budget markets.
Alcatel has a reputation in the lower end markets and have even expanded their lineup to Windows 10 for phones. Considering that the device has a 6 inch screen, the smartphone should feature a 1080p display.
Information on specifications is not yet available so that’s all that we can speculate about. Whether the smartphone ships with Marshmallow or Nougat also remains to be seen. The company should be bringing some new tech in the smartphone and wearable tech departments with CES and MWC this year.
