How to Complete A Few Drops Too Much
Step 1: Start the Quest from Rice Lord
Talk to Rice Lord, who stands on the watchtower near the Rice Field in New Camp.
He will give you the “A Few Drops Too Much” quest and ask you to visit Silas at the lake tavern.
From New Camp’s main entrance, turn right and follow the path toward the lake.
The tavern sits directly on the water’s edge, across a small bridge from the main town area.
Step 3: Tell the Guard You’re a “Scrapper”
Before entering, the bandit guarding the tavern door will stop you.
When he asks who you are or why you’re here, respond that you’re a “Scrapper” (or “Scraper”). This falsified identity lets you enter free.
Critical Mistake: If you don’t say “Scrapper,” the guard will demand 100 Nuggets as entry fee. This wastes valuable currency early in the game.
Step 4: Enter the Tavern and Find Silas
Walk inside the tavern. Immediately look right to see the layout, then head straight to the bar counter. Silas stands behind the bar — walk up to him and initiate conversation.
Step 5: Deal with Rayk (Optional but Required)
When you look right after entering, you’ll see Rayk standing near a giant cauldron. He’s bothering tavern guests. Return to Silas and complete part of your dialogue, then return to Rayk and offer him a drink. This stops him from harassing people.
Tip: If you previously beat up Rayk in earlier interactions, you won’t need to give him ore later to progress other quests.
Step 6: Finish with Silas and Return to Rice Lord
After dealing with Rayk, go back to Silas behind the bar and finish the remaining dialogue. Once done, leave the tavern and return to Rice Lord on the watchtower to report completion and finish the quest.
