No one knows when the 32GB and 3G-enabled Nexus 7 are going to start selling outside the US or what their price will be, but the folks over at Ausdroid have received a tip that the 32GB and 3G-enabled models will sell for $319 and $399, respectively, by retailer Dick Smith Electronics. Info on the release dates, however, wasn’t confirmed.
Those prices are a bit high compared to US prices of the device, but it is possible that prices will be dropped in the future, similar to how Dick Smith Electronics is currently selling the 16GB model for $50 less than its normal price. Both devices will also be available in the Play Store, where the prices are more likely to be nearer to their US counterparts.
The Nexus 7 sports a 1.3Ghz Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 7.0″ LED-backlit LCD display (1280 x 800), a front-facing 1.2MP camera with 720p video recording, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0 with USB OTG support, 4325 mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. An update to Android 4.2 is said to be coming very soon.
Anyone saving up already to buy the higher storage 3G-enabled Nexus 7?
