The objective occurs inside Webb Industries after infiltrating the building with Greenway. You’ll encounter a locked conference-room area where Greenway cannot continue. Although the door appears inaccessible, the actual solution is to find a position where you can see the door sensor through the room’s windows and blinds.
How to open a path for Greenway in 007 First Light
Step 1
Move toward the locked area and look for the hacking indicator. The door itself cannot be opened from your current position, so head back toward the side of the building where you previously climbed around the exterior window. From this angle, you can see inside the conference room through the raised blinds.
Step 2
Aim at the door sensor inside the conference room and hack it. Unlike many other hacking targets in the game, this sensor requires a clear line of sight before the hack becomes available. Once the hack is successful, the room becomes accessible.
Step 3
Enter the conference room and interact with the large control tablet or console. One of the available options allows you to request room cleaning. Select it to call the cleaning robot.
Step 4
Wait for the vacuum cleaner to arrive and travel through the hallway. As it moves along its programmed route, it automatically triggers the door mechanism that Bond cannot operate manually. After a few seconds, the blocked doorway opens.
Once the door opens, Greenway can proceed through the area and the mission continues normally.
Why the puzzle confuses many players
The biggest issue is that the hackable door sensor is not visible from the obvious route. Many players search for a keycard or a nearby switch, when the intended solution is to return to the earlier exterior window position and hack the sensor from there. After that, the cleaning robot handles the rest of the sequence automatically.
If you’re stuck on the objective, remember the sequence: hack the conference-room door sensor, enter the room, call the cleaning robot, and wait for the vacuum to trigger the door opening mechanism. Once the robot completes its route, Greenway’s path is cleared and you can continue through Webb Industries.
