It seems like ZTE is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India on July 5.
The company took it to Twitter to tease the smartphone the company intends to launch on the said date. The tweet reads “A camera built to capture beauty in the blink of an eye. Launching on 5th July,” with the accompanying image claiming that the device will have an “astounding camera.”
ZTE doesn’t explicitly mention the smartphone’s name in the new tweet but it could most probably be the Nubia N2 based on the hints it has thrown away subtly.

Speaking of which, the Nubia N2 was announced in March in China this year. In terms of specs, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 SoC.
It packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable onboard storage which should be more than enough for normal users. There’s a 13MP f/2.2 PDAF camera on the back and a 16MP f/2.0 shooter on the front.
One of the major highlights of the phone is its 5,000mAh battery. To match the high capacity battery, the company is bundling an 18W charger with the smartphone.
The Nubia N2 will be made available in Black Gold and Champagne Gold color variants.
