ZTE seems to be working on a couple of new handsets as both of them bearing model numbers BV0850 and V0840 have paid a visit to TENAA.
According to the listing, the ZTE BV0850 will sport a 5.0-inch HD display and feature an octa-core 1.4GHz unspecified chipset. The device will apparently be available in three memory variants: 2GB/3GB/4GB.
As for the storage, there will be a 16GB and 32GB options. An 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera will take care of the imaging department. The entire package will be backed by a 2,800mAh battery.

ZTE V0840, on the other hand, will also get a 5-inch HD display but with an unspecified quad-core 1.4GHz chipset, 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM, and either 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage. It will have the same camera arrangement as the ZTE BV0850 — an 8MP sensor on the back and a 5MP selfie camera. The battery capacity, however, is slightly small at 2,500mAh.
Interestingly, the listing reveals that the ZTE BV0850 which is a better-specced phone among the two will ship with Android 7.0 while the ZTE V0840 boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
There’s no word on the launch date of these handsets just yet. We will keep you posted as soon as we get our hands on something credible.
